Jeff Redmon

Jeff is the Founder of Breakthrough Impact Group and President of Redmon Law Chartered. He is a serial entrepreneur focused on being a trusted advisor to business owners in Minnesota and Wisconsin. After being a partner with Briggs and Morgan, now Taft, Stettinius & Hollister, in 2001 he left his big fancy law firm to start his own small fancy law firm in Hudson, Wisconsin.

His true passion is facilitating business owner roundtable mastermind groups and helping business owners create a life they truly love.

Author of: Cash, The Fuel for Your Economic Engine: How 1+1+1=19. Jeff helps businesses maximize their cash internally and has helped clients find billions in loans and outside capital.

Jeff has also been a serial volunteer having served on many economic development boards, his local school board for 23 years, and chaired his local hospital board for 5 years during a period of 3x growth. His longest volunteer passion and commitment has been to the Girl Scouts building opportunities for girls. Jeff has served on the Girl Scouts of the USA National Board of Directors and its executive committee, served as a GSUSA volunteer management consultant for 25 years, and currently serves on the local Girl Scout Council board as its Treasurer.

Jeff graduated from The University of Iowa College of Law in 1982 and Iowa State University with a bachelor’s in science in 1979.

Jeff resides with his wife, Cindy, in rural Wisconsin. He is a proud father to three married children and 5 grandchildren.

Rick Brimacomb

Rick began advising and investing in early-stage and emerging companies as a venture capitalist in 1991. Prior to that time, he covered and worked with early-stage companies as a research analyst and investment banker. For over two decades, Rick has helped numerous companies develop into “investment grade” opportunities, attract funding, and create shareholder value.

In 2005, Rick founded his own advisory practice, Brimacomb & Associates, where he assists business leaders in refining strategies, assembling resources, and securing funding. In essence, Rick’s main responsibility at Brimacomb & Associates is to act as a shareholder value architect on behalf of his portfolio companies.

Prior to founding his own firm, Rick joined Sherpa Partners in 1998 and co-founded the Sherpa Trek I venture capital fund in 2001. At Sherpa, he was responsible for firm strategy, fundraising, deal flow, due diligence, investment decisions, portfolio company support, executive recruitment, marketing, operations, public relations, investor relations, finance, legal, and human resources.

Previous to Sherpa, Rick was Senior Director at Smaby Group, Inc. whereas a venture catalyst he led strategic and financial advisory practices serving early-stage companies. He also co-founded Cartia, a venture capital-backed software startup, where he was Vice President of Finance and ‘right-hand man’ to the Founder and CEO.

Rick earned both his BS and his MBA from Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He was named one of the “Real Power 50” in Minnesota by Minnesota Business magazine and also has been recognized by the Mpls./St. Paul Business Journal as a “40 Under 40” honoree.

Richard is Jeff’s partner at Redmon Law Chartered. He joined within a month of its origins in 2001. In 2008, Rich earned the high designation as a Minnesota State Bar Association Certified Real Estate Specialist. Of the 5,000 Minnesota lawyers who identify themselves as Minnesota real estate lawyers, fewer than 350 can say they are a Real Estate Specialist. 

Rich provides business and real estate legal advice in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Rich is a disciplined lawyer and welcomes carrying the leal load to help business owners achieve their business summits, safely. Through practical advice, Rich challenges his clients to bring clarity to their vision, objectives, and strategies. 

Rich is an active community volunteer through the Hudson Rotary Club and Simpson House. He resides in Woodbury, Minnesota with his wife, Heather, and their 2 children.
