Are You Ready to Rumble?
BY JEFF REDMON/BREAKTHROUGH IMPACT GROUP

Last night, I attended a webinar from The Growth Faculty and Kylie Lewis titled, “Building Brave Leaders and Courage Cultures”. The word the webinar focused around was, “Rumble”.
A Rumble is a discussion, conversation, or meeting defined by a commitment to lean into vulnerability, to stay curious and generous, to stick with the messy middle of problem identification and solving, to take a break and circle back when necessary, to be fearless in owning our parts, and as psychologist Harriet Lerner teaches, to listen with the same passion with which we want to be heard.
This is the heart of leadership. You can’t get to a culture of courage without the rumbles and vulnerability.
To scale daring leadership and build courage in teams and organizations, we must cultivate a culture in which brave work, tough conversations, and whole hearts are the expectation, and armor is not necessary or rewarded.
Are you creating an environment for growth and innovation through courage and vulnerability? Or could you do a better job of leading by example?
Send me a message if you’d like to receive the workbook associated with the webinar. Tons of great information.
